Heard Mr. Shaikh, learned APP for the RespondentState. Taking note of the letter sent by the Petitioner while in prison, this writ petition came to be registered. The Petitioner in the said letter has prayed for expeditious hearing of the Special NDPS case pending on the file of Special Judge, Vasai arising from FIR bearing CR. No.54 of 2014 registered with Nalasopara Police Station. The said FIR was registered under the provisions of NDPS Act.

Mr. Shaikh, learned APP makes a statement that during the pendency of this writ petition, trial in the subject special / sessions case has commenced and two witnesses have already been examined. He further submitted that though the Petitioner is released on bail, he is not attending the proceedings patilsr 1 / 2

of the subject special case and therefore a non-bailable warrant is also issued against him.

In the aforesaid facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to entertain this writ petition and the same is accordingly dismissed.
