This is an application through jail, wherein the applicant has prayed for expeditious hearing and in the alternative for bail. On 24th February, 2016, a report was called for, from the learned Sessions Judge, Sangli regarding the status of the case.

Perused the letter dated 10th March, 2016 received from learned District Judge - 6 and Assistant Session Judge, Sangli. It appears that charge has been framed in the present case and the matter was fixed on 11th

2/3 March, 2016 for admitting and/or denying the documents as per Section 294 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the fact that charge is framed in the present case, the prayer for bail is not being considered, at this stage. If for no fault of the applicant, the trial does not conclude within a reasonable period, the applicant is at liberty to file a fresh application, which shall be considered on its own merits.

The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Home, Sangli to take effective steps to ensure that all the accused in the aforesaid C.R. being C.R.No.127 of 2013, registered with the Vishrambag Police Station, Sangli and whose case being Sessions Case No.217 of 2013, is pending before the learned District Judge - 6 and Assistant Session Judge, Sangli, are produced on all the dates given by the Trial Court.

Accordingly, the Application is disposed of with the aforesaid direction.

Registry to communicate the above order to the learned District Judge - 6 and Assistant Session Judge, Sangli, who is seized of the said case being Sessions Case No.217 of 2013. A copy of the said order also be forwarded to the applicant, who is lodged in Sangli District Prison, Sangli.

Learned APP to communicate the above order to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Home, Sangli, who will ensure that the accused are produced on the dates given by the Trial Court. 8.
