Not on board. Upon production taken on board. Heard the learned Counsel for the applicants and the learned APP. By an order dated 16/12/2016 the application filed by the applicants under section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 Talwalkar 1/2

3p.appp2.17.sxw was rejected by this court. The applicants were granted interim protection earlier and therefore, in the interest of justice, the Hon'ble Court was pleased to extend the interim protection for a period of 2 weeks, in order to enable the applicants to approach the Hon'ble Apex Court.

The learned Counsel for the applicants submits that due to winter vacation, the applicants could not make arrangement to approach the Hon'ble Apex Court and hence, the learned Counsel for the applicants prays that the interim protection be further extended. In the interest of justice, interim protection granted vide order dated 16/12/2016 is extended till 13/1/2017. The application stands disposed of accordingly.
