This petition is directed against the order dated 23.12.2014 made by the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal confirming the ad-interim stay granted by it on 7.8.2014 till the final decision in the appeal. Rather than entertaining the petition as against the confirmation of interim order, which is to operate during the pendency of the appeal, it would be appropriate if the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal is directed to hear and dispose of the main appeal itself on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date Shivgan 1/2

31-wp-248-15 of this order.

Accordingly, impugned order is not interfered with. However, the Maharashtra Revenue Tribunal is directed to hear and dispose of Appeal No.20 of 2014 within a period of three months from the date of this order. Such disposal shall be in accordance with law and on its own merits.
