The Petition is filed for challenging the circular of IG Konkan Range dated 11th August, 2016. By the said circular the IG Konkan Range has directed all concerned to initiate proceedings under section 110 of Cr.P.C. against the accused who are released on bail in offences punishable under sections 354 and 376 of the IPC. 3.

The learned APP has placed on record letter dated 5th April, 2017 sent by IG, Konkan Range. Said letter is taken on record and Megha 1/2

Megha 904_wp_8_2017.doc marked 'x1' for identification. By the said letter the IG, Konkan Range has withdrawn the earlier circular dated 11th August, 2016. 4.

Since the impugned circular is already withdrawn by the IG, Konkan Region, the grievance of the Petitioner no more survives. Hence, the Petition stands disposed of.
