This is an application for condonation of delay in filing the application for leave to file an appeal against the judgment and order dated 4th July 2016 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Thane. It is submitted that there was delay in filing the appeal for the reasons which are stated in the application. Learned advocate for the applicant opposed the application for condonation of delay. It is submitted that there is no plausible explanation for condonation of delay.

For the reasons stated in the application, the delay is required to be condoned. Accordingly, Criminal Application No.1 of 2017 is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Criminal Application is disposed of.
