Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, having taken instructions from the petitioner who is present in Court, makes a statement that the petitioner would be satisfied if complaint dated 30th November, 2015 made by her against the respondent-police officer to the Maharashtra State Commission for Women with copies to various authorities, including the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai is decided in accordance with law after giving a personal hearing to her by 1/2

Looking into the allegations made by the petitioner against the respondent-police officer, we grant liberty to the petitioner to approach the Commissioner of Police, Mumbai along with a copy of the complaint annexed at Exhibit-F, on 1st March, 2016 at 11.00 a.m. In the event the petitioner approaches the Commissioner of Police along with a written complaint, the Commissioner of Police is directed to personally hear the petitioner and take appropriate decision and pass order in respect of the grievance made by the petitioner and communicate its decision to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

So far as the other reliefs claimed in the petition are concerned, the petitioner will be at liberty to approach the appropriate Court / forum to redress her grievance and seek such reliefs. Disposal of the petition shall not come in the way of the petitioner to seek appropriate relief before the concerned Court / forum. All contentions are kept open. 5.
