909-WP.44.2018.doc IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 44 OF 2018 Mrs. Manjudevi Uday Singh } Petitioner versus State of Maharashtra and Anr.

} Respondents Ms. Rashmi M. Gawade for the petitioner.

Ms. M. H. Mhatre-APP for State.

CORAM :- S. C. DHARMADHIKARI & PRAKASH. D. NAIK, JJ.

DATED :- MARCH 16, 2018 P.C. :- After this writ petition was heard for some time and a report of the Child Welfare Committee was perused in the presence of the petitioner's advocate and when the petitioner's advocate sought to tender a rejoinder affidavit of the petitioner, we expressed our disinclination to grant any relief, much less to issue a writ of habeas corpus, as claimed by the petitioner. We were not satisfied with the genuineness and bonafides of this litigation. When this was made very clear to the petitioner's advocate and in open court in the presence of the petitioner, leave is sought to withdraw this writ petition. Leave granted. The writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
