By this review petition, the review petitioner seeks review of the order dated 23rd November, 2017 passed by this Court dismissing the Writ Petition (Stamp) No.31416 of 2017 with costs quantified at Rs.25,000/-.

Learned counsel appearing for the review petitioner submits that the right of the petitioner to defend his case cannot be taken away, though the petitioner had committed default in making payment of the arrears of Rs.14,55,000/- to the respondent. The 1/2

908-rpwst230-18 review petition is filed on the ground that the order passed by this Court is contrary to the judgment of the Supreme Court. Learned counsel for the review petitioner could not point out any error apparent on the face of order passed by this Court. The review petition is misconceived and the same is accordingly dismissed. 3.

Learned counsel for the review petitioner at this stage seeks stay of the impugned order passed by the trial Court. There was no stay granted by this Court in the writ petition which came to be rejected by this Court. The application for stay is accordingly rejected.
