Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the applicant is in financial difficulty. The case is about assaulting his own wife. Therefore, the family members are not supporting him and, therefore, there is delay in approaching the Advocate. He submitted that the delay be condoned.

Considering these reasons and in the interest of justice, delay of 175 days in filing the appeal is condoned. The appeal be processed further. The application is disposed of accordingly.
