Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the Respondent Nos.1 to 5. The Petitioner is relying upon the work order issued to him for maintaining cleanliness in the Regional Mental Hospital at Ratnagiri. Exhibit 'B' to the Petition shows that the work order is valid till 31st March, 2015. 2.2.

The grievance in this Petition is that during the subsistence of the said contract, the authorities have granted a contract to the sixth Respondent to carry on the same work.

The learned AGP representing the Respondent Nos.1 to 5, on instructions of Shri Mukund Saidji Diggikar, the Joint Director of Health Services, Procurement Cell, Mumbai, states that as of today, the work order issued to the Petitioner is operating and if the first to fifth Respondents desire to cancel or terminate the said order, due process of law will be followed. We accept the said statements. 4.

However, we direct that in the event the State Government desires to terminate or cancel the work order, minimum 15 days' advance notice thereof shall be issued to the Petitioner. The Petition is disposed of.

We make it clear that we have made no adjudication on the rights and contentions of the parties.
