Amongst the reliefs sought in the above Writ Petition is the relief that a direction be issued to decide the representation made by the Petitioner to the Respondent No.2 i.e. the Director General of Police, Maharashtra.

The learned counsel for the Petitioner Mr. Talekar has drawn our attention to the representations, which are annexed to the above Writ

2/2 22-wp.58.2018.doc Petition from page 144 onwards. The first of the said representations is one dated 12th April, 2016, which is addressed to various authorities amongst whom, is the Director General of Police, Maharashtra. 3.

We, therefore, deem it appropriate to direct the the Director General of Police, Maharashtra, to personally look into the representation of the Petitioner and take an appropriate decision thereon, within eight weeks from date and communicate his decision to the Petitioner thereafter. 4.

Insofar as, the other prayers are concerned, the learned counsel for the Petitioner does not press the same, at this stage. 5.

With the directions as aforestated, the above Writ Petition is disposed of.
