P.C.:- 1) By the present Petition, Petitioner has prayed that his trial i.e. MCOC Special Case No.9 of 2008 may be directed to be expedited and be conducted on day-to-day basis. It is his grievance that, he is in Jail for last more than 10 years as an under-trial prisoner and despite the said fact, his trial is not concluded.

2) In view of the above, we hereby direct the learned Special Judge, Thane seized of MCOC Special Case No.9 of 2008 to expedite the hearing of the said trial and if not concluded till date, to conclude it within a period of nine months from the date of receipt of the present Order, without seeking any extension in that behalf. 3) Petition is accordingly disposed off.
