The challenge in this Revision Application is the order of conviction and consequential sentence for offence punishable under section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act. The Applicant herein was the accused in SCC No.549 of 2014. He was also unsuccessful in Appeal against his conviction. He therefore preferred this Application. 2.

It is informed that the Applicant has passed away pending this Application. His death certificate is also placed on record. The amount of compensation of Rs.48,450/- is deposited either in Trial Court or the Appellate Court. The same be paid to the Respondent No.1 - Complainant along with interest accrued therein. 1/2
