By the present application, the applicant seeks extension of time to furnish surety, since he was released on cash bail for a period of six weeks by order dated 30/09/2019. 2.
A specific pleading in the application is to the effect that on being released on cash bail, he went to carry out the surety procedure in the concerned department in the Sessions Court in AJN
2/2 42 IA-338.22.odt October, 2019 and though the verification orders were issued, due to the pandemic, the procedure was not completed. When the verification report was received by the said department, it was informed that the applicant has to seek extension of time, since the time has lapsed.

Upon the statement made on behalf of learned counsel for the applicant that the sureties are now ready and, if extension is granted and a direction is issued to accept them, there shall be compliance of the conditions of bail, granted on 30/09/2019. 4.
Time to furnish surety is extended by a further period of two weeks. The concerned court is directed to accept the said sureties.

The application is disposed off.
