Mr. Patil, the learned counsel for the Petitioner at the outset makes a statement that he is restricting the petition to the relief claimed under prayer clauses (B) and amended prayer clauses (a-i) to (a-ii).

So far as the reliefs claimed under prayers (a-i) and (a-ii) are concerned, about the direction to Respondent No.5 and Respondent No.6 to decide the proposals dated 11.12.2006 and 21.7.2008 respectively.

Mr. Kakde, the learned Additional Government Pleader submits that appropriate directions may be issued. 5.

We accordingly direct the Respondent No.5-Director, Social Welfare Department, State of Maharashtra and Respondent No.6-State of Maharashtra through Chief Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Pune, to decide Petitioner's proposal dated 11.12.2006 at Exh.'G' and 21.7.2008 at Exh.'T' respectively, as expeditiously as possible and preferrably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

So far as the relief claimed in prayer clause 'B' is concerned, Mr. Patil submits that he may be granted liberty to file fresh representation to the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur. Mr. Kakade, the learned Additional Government Pleader states that if such a representation is filed, same will be decided by the Education Officer (Primary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur, expeditiously. 7.

We therefore, grant liberty to the Petitioner to make fresh representation in respect of the relief claimed in prayer clause 'B' and direct the Education Officer, Primary, Zilla Parishad, Solapur, to decide the same as expeditiously as possible and within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly. 2/3
