The petitioner-tenant has impugned Order dated 9th December 2019 passed by the respondent No.2, refusing to grant stay to the execution of Order dated 7th November 2019 passed by the Competent Authority under Section 24 of the Maharashtra Rent Control Act, 1999. 2.

During the course of arguments, the learned counsel for the respondent No.1, on instructions, submitted that, during the pendency of the said Revision Application No.742 of 2019 pending on the file of respondent No.2, the original applicant/respondent No. 1 herein will not proceed with the execution proceedings filed by her in furtherance of Order dated 7th November 2019 passed by the Competent Authority. The said statement is accepted.

The respondent No.2 is hereby requested to expedite the hearing of the said Revision Application No.742 of 2019 and make an endeavor to conclude the hearing of the same within a period of six months from the date of the receipt of the present Order. 4.

Petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
