This is an application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for anticipatory bail.

The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 796 of 2022 registered at Yawat Police Station, Daund, Pune for the offences punishable under Section 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.
I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent/State.

The allegations against the present applicant and other co-accused are of cheating. It is alleged that the complainant and other victims were asked by the present applicant and other co-accused to invest money in non existing scheme and they duped them to the tune of Rs. 7,15,000/-. However, it appears that the applicant is not the beneficiary of the alleged amount. Considering this fact, I am inclined to release the applicant on anticipatory bail. In the result, the following order is passed:
O R D E R
A] The Application is allowed.
B] In the event of arrest of applicant- Gaurav Chandrakant Kedari, in C.R. No.796 of 2022 registered at Yawat Police Station, Daund, Pune for the offence punishable under Section 420 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code, he shall be released on bail on executing P.R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand only) with one or two sureties in the like amount. C] The applicant shall attend the concerned Police Station as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall co-operate in the investigation.
