Learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to approach the officer in charge of the concerned Police Station as contemplated under section 154 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Leave with liberty as prayed for is granted. Petition is allowed to be withdrawn and is dismissed as such.

Needless to state that in case the Petitioners file Report under section 154 of the Code, the police shall hold preliminary enquiry, take appropriate decision thereon and communicate such decision to the Petitioners within seven days of filing of such report.
