Learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner states that an Application made by the Petitioner under Section 451 of the Maharashtra Municipal Corporations Act, 1949 has been decided by a communication dated 14th May 2015. The Petitioner has placed on record a letter dated 27th July 2017 addressed by him the Advocate for the Petitioner which is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. In view of what is stated in the said

sng wp-4548.15 letter, he seeks permission to withdraw the Petition. Accordingly, the Petition is disposed of as withdrawn. 2.

As the Petitioner has already filed a separate Petition challenging the decision taken by the State Government, we make it clear that all contentions in that behalf are kept open.
