Applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 281/2018 registered with Saswad Police Station, Pune for offence punishable under sections 302, 307, 143, 145, 147, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (25) of the Arms Act. Perused the statement of the complainant and the F.I.R., statement of the witness Sopan Patne and statement under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Initially the role

2 33.31.19 ba.doc attributed to the applicant is that of holding of chili powder and restraining others from intervening in the incident while the offence was committed which was later improved to throwing chili powder. Apart from above, no specific role is attributed to the applicant. In the aforesaid background, considering the fact that applicant is a lady and having regard to the role attributed to her, she is entitled to be released on bail. Hence, following order: (I) Applicant be released on bail in Crime No. 281/2018 registered with Saswad Police Station, Pune on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(II) Applicant shall not influence the witnesses or tamper with evidence.

Application stands disposed of.
