The Applicants are apprehending arrest in connection with the allegation of harassment caused to wife of Applicant No.1 Gaurang. The Applicants are apprehending that FIR could be lodged against them under Section 498-A or similar Sections of the Indian Penal Code. The amended prayer of the Applicants seeks protection from arrest in connection with the possible FIR at Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station, Pune.

Learned A.P.P. sought instructions from the officers of Bharati Vidyapeet Police Station, Pune and on telephonic instructions obtained from Police Constable Lalit Mohite, he makes a statement that in case a FIR is lodged against the Applicants by Applicant No.1's wife in any matrimonial dispute, then the Applicants shall be given notice prior to 72 hours of clear working days before arresting them to enable them to approach appropriate Court for appropriate reliefs. The statement is accepted. 4.

In view of this statement, learned Counsel for the Applicants has not pressed this Application any further at this stage.
