The Special Court under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 ["POCSO Act"] has acquitted the Respondent No.2 for the offences punishable under Sections 354-A of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ["IPC"] and Sections 7 and 8 of the POCSO Act. This is an Appeal filed by the First-Informant. 2.

It is submitted that the Respondent-Accused is her father-inlaw and now, she has settled the dispute with her husband Dhanesh and they have decided to take divorce by mutual consent and one of the conditions is to withdraw the cases.
