This application has been sent by the applicant from jail praying that the applicant desires to be represented in the appeal by the earlier counsel appointed by him. It appears that the applicant had sent Criminal Application No. 1220 of 2014 requesting that a counsel from the Legal Aid Panel be appointed to represent him in the pending criminal appeal i.e. Criminal Appeal No. 109 of 2011. This court, therefore, allowed this application by order dated 13/10/2014 and direct that a counsel from the

pdp appa-17-15 Legal Aid Panel be appointed to represent the applicant in the appeal.

Subsequent thereto the present application has been sent by the applicant from jail praying for cancellation of appointment of the counsel from the Legal Aid Panel as he desires to be represented in the appeal by the earlier counsel appointed by him.

In that light of the matter, therefore, we allow Criminal Application No. 17 of 2015 and cancel the appointment of the counsel from the Legal Aid Panel, which was done pursuant to our order dated 13/10/2014 in Criminal Application No. 1220 of 2014.

This application is therefore, allowed as indicated above.
