Heard learned counsel for the parties.

This is the second bail application preferred by the applicant. Learned Counsel for the applicant submitted that pursuant to the liberty granted by this Court to renew his prayer for bail, the present application is filed. He submitted that despite expediting the trial, there is no progress in the said case.

Learned Special P.P. states that the case was transferred from
2/2 21-ba.50.2018.doc Alibag to Mumbai, in view of the notification only in the last week of January and that charge was framed as against the applicant and other accused in the last week i.e. on 15th March, 2018. 4.
Admittedly, the case was in the Alibag Court and was transferred to Mumbai Court in January, 2018 and as charge was framed in the last week, there was no occasion for the trial Court to proceed with the said case expeditiously. The applicant's first bail application was rejected on merits vide order dated 24th April, 2017.

Considering the fact, that the trial of the applicant is expedited, the learned Judge to conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within one year from the date of receipt of this order. 6.
The Application is accordingly disposed of on aforesaid terms. 7.
