The instant application is filed for quashing the proceedings of RCC.No.384 of 2005 pending on the file of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Solapur which has resulted from C.R.No.16 of 2005 registered with Sadar Bazar Police Station, Solapur for the offence punishable under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. The petition is filed in the year 2015, which is approximately after 10 years of filing of charge-sheet. Be that as it may, the Petitioner has alternative efficacious remedy of filing an application for discharge before the trial Court. In that view of the matter, we do not see any reason to entertain this application warranting the exercise of powers of this Court under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Application is, therefore, dismissed.
