1] Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2] The only grievance of the petitioner is that against his dismissal order dated 27.09.2016 (Exhibit "A"), issued by first respondent Superintendent of Police, Kolhapur, his appeal dated 5.10.2016 (Exhibit "B"), is pending before second respondent Special Director General of Police, Kolhapur and the same has not been decided as yet.

3] Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this petition be disposed, by directing second respondent to decide the 1/2

4] Without commenting upon the merits of the matter, we are inclined to dispose of this petition by directing second respondent to decide the petitioner's appeal (Exhibit "B") against his dismissal order (Exhibit "A"), as expeditiously as possible, but not later than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5] Petition is disposed of in above terms.
