In the light of reasons stated in the order dated 30th January, 2020 passed in Bail Application No.2117 of 2019, though bail was declined, the learned Trial Court was directed to commence the trial on or before 30th June, 2020. In view of the fact that the applicant has been incarcerated Shivgan 1/3

since 13th October, 2017. Due to Covid-19 Pandemic, Trial Court could not commence the trial as directed and, therefore, applicant has preferred this application seeking his enlargement on bail.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that trial is scheduled on 5th March, 2021 for framing the charge. He further submits that prosecution may not examine more than six witnesses. In view of the facts of the case, the learned Trial Court is directed to conclude the trial in the Sessions Case No.122 of 2018 before 31st May, 2021.
