Applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 331/2018 registered with Khed Police Station, Dist. Pune for offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 306, 323, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution story which needs consideration is, on 23/08/2018, Chandrakantn, father of deceased Nanda lodged a complaint that present applicant was married to his daughter, has practised cruelty which driven her to commit suicide. As such offence in question. The incident took place on 17/08/2018 and the

Perused the investigation carried out till date. From the post mortem report, the cause of death appears to be drowning. There are no external injuries noticed on the body of deceased Nanda. Having regard the fact that investigation in the matter is already over and the applicant is behind the bar for almost more than five months, in my opinion, case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, following order:

(A) Applicant be released in Crime No. 331/2018 registered with Khed Police Station, Dist. Pune on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(B) Applicant shall not influence witnesses or tamper with evidence.

Application stands disposed of.
