P.C.:- This is an Application for extension of time for approaching the Trial Court for cancellation of non-bailable warrant issued by it, on 24th December, 2020.

By an Order dated 23rd November, 2020, the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court (Coram:- Smt. Revati Mohite Dere, J.) had granted six weeks time to the Applicant to enable him to approach the Trial Court for cancellation of non-bailable warrant.

Mr. Badole, learned counsel for the Applicant submitted that, the Applicant is ordinary resident of Deharadun (Uttarakhand) and due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, he could not travel via Delhi and therefore, was unable to remain present during the stipulated period. 1/2

ssm 2 45-cri.ia143.21-in-appln-APL-34.21.doc He therefore, prayed that, the period for approaching the Trial Court for cancellation of non-bailable warrant, may be extended by four weeks from today.

Perusal of Application would indicate that, sufficient cause is made out for extension of time to approach the Trial Court for cancellation of said non-bailable warrant.

In view of the above, Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).

It is made clear that, the said period will not be extended further.
