This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks a direction to the second respondent to release the bank account of the petitioner which is freezed by the letter dated 21st September, 2015.
On such a writ petition, though extensive reply affidavit and rejoinder is filed, on the earlier occasion, we called upon Mr. Jetly to take instructions and make an appropriate statement.
rpa 2/2 wp-906-16.doc In the presence of the revenue official Mr.Jetly informs the Court that the Bank account which stands frozen by the above letter would be released from such freezing, on or before 7th April, 2017.
We accept this statement made by Mr.Jetly on instructions as an undertaking to this Court. In view thereof, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is disposed of. No order as to costs.
