In Crime No. 248 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, the present Applicant seeks regular bail. After arrest, the Applicant faced custodial interrogation. 2.

The learned Counsel submits that the Applicant is duped in the present crime on the statement of co-accused. 3.

The learned APP opposed the claim.

On merit there appears to be sufficient material available on record to connect the Accused to the crime in question, particularly when the co-accused has named the Applicant as he is beneficiary in the crime in question being custodian of the stolen property. In the present crime, the investigation is in progress and chargesheet is yet to be filed. 5.

As such, no case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the Criminal Bail Application stands rejected.
