In the said report, in the last paragraph, it has been mentioned that, a report under Section 169 of the Criminal Procedure Code would be filed in the Special Court within a period of 2 weeks from today. In the light of the said statement, the above petition seeking quashing of the FIR lodged against the petitioners under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1971 and Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code does not survive. The petition accordingly stands disposed off as having turned infructous.
