The petitioner is before this Court aggrieved by certain entries in the revenue record pertaining to the land in question with reference to name of Mahar Vatan lands. According to the petitioner, the revenue authorities ought not to have changed or deleted the previous entries.

The reply-affidavit filed by the respondent indicates that already a representation made by the petitioner is forwarded by the Collector to the Tahasildar for conducting appropriate enquiry.
skn 2/2 464.16-wp.sxw According to the petitioner, no civil suit is pending. Even the SubDivisional Officer, who has filed reply-affidavit, has not indicated the number of suit. The fact remains that under Land Revenue Code, the authority concerned must take decision on the representation of the petitioner, whether deletion of previous name replacing with present name was in accordance with the procedure contemplated or not.

We direct the respondent- authority/ Collector to consider this writ petition as representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same within three months from today. 4.
With the aforesaid observation and direction, writ petition is disposed of.
