This is an Application sent through jail by the Appellant. The Appellant has stated that as the Advocate who was appointed by him did not appear on the dates when the Appeal was called for final hearing, he had made a request to the High Court Legal Aid Services Committee for an appointment of Advocate to represent him. He further stated that accordingly Ms. Rupali Manik Shinde, Advocate from the said Legal Aid Committee has been appointed. He further stated that the said Advocate is also not attending this Appeal on the dates when the Appeal has been called out for final hearing. He, therefore, requested that any other Advocate who

appa.22-2015 will be able to attend the Appeal on the dates whenever Appeal is called out for final hearing be appointed.

The High Court Legal Aid Services Committee is hereby directed to appoint another Advocate in place of Ms. Rupali Manik Shinde. The said Committee is further directed to ensure that the newly appointed Advocate will be entrusted with the concerned brief and will be prepared to argue the matter as and when the Appeal is called out and also to ensure that the intimation of appointment of the new Advocate shall be communicated to the Appellant who is in jail. This be done within two weeks from today.

Application is allowed in the above terms.

A copy of this order be sent to the Applicant who is in Nashik Road Central Prison free of costs.
