By a detailed order dated 11th January, 2016, the Applicants are protected by way of interim relief. The learned APP for the State, on instructions, submitted that the Applicants have attended the Investigating Officer and joined the process of investigation. She further on instructions submitted that the custodial interrogation of the Applicants is not necessary. However, the Applicants may be directed to attend the Investigating Officer as and when called, for the purpose of investigation.

In view of the same, the interim relief granted by order dated 11th January, 2016 is hereby confirmed. However, the Applicants are hereby directed to attend the concerned Borey 1/2

spb/ 24aba31-16.doc Investigating Officer between 10 a.m. to 12 noon as and when called for the purpose of investigation till the filing of the chargesheet. It is needless to mention that before calling the Applicants to the police station, the Investigation Officer shall issue a notice under section 160 of Cr.P.C. to the Applicants.
