By this petition under Article 226 of Constitution of India, the Petitioner is seeking following reliefs :
"(a) The Hon'ble Court by a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, orders or directions be issued calling upon the Respondents to consider the case of Petitioner' s husband posthumously for various awards, recognition. And also for pension, monetary benefits and housing facility, to be given to the Petitioner wife.
(b) Pending the hearing and final disposal of the present Writ Petition, this Hon'ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondents to make some periodical ad hoc payments to the Petitioner to enable her to support herself and live with honor and pride.

2 6VC-WP 4338-21.odt (c) That some road in Mumbai be named after Baba and his photos be put up on B.C.C.I., Mumbai Cricket Association, Maharashtra Cricket Association, Indian Railways etc., etc. as already approved by B.C.C.I. (but still kept pending), in order to give due recognition and for inspiration of the present and future generations.
(d) The Petitioner widow and wife of an unrecognized, unrewarded excellent cricketer Baba Siddhaye and therefore in the interest of justice appropriate orders be passed accordingly.
(e) Interim and ad-interim reliefs in terms of prayers at (a) to (d) above be granted.
(f) The Hon'ble Court be pleased to grant such other and further reliefs as deems just and necessary in the interest of justice." 3.
When this Court declined to entertain the present Writ Petition, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner may be permitted to file appropriate application before the authorities for the same cause of action and the authorities be directed to decide the said application on merits within time. Learned Advocate for Petitioner given in writing for withdrawal of petition. Same is taken on record and marked '

. Same is accepted. Hence, the following order is passed :-
ORDER
(i) Petitioner is permitted to make appropriate application for the same cause of action with the authorities on or before 18/09/2021.

3 6VC-WP 4338-21.odt (ii) If the application is made within time as stated hereinabove, authorities are directed to decide the same within 8 weeks and communicate their decision to the Petitioner in writing. (iii) With these directions, Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
