Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for bail in respect of the offence punishable under Sections 370(A)(2) of the Indian Penal Code (hereafter 'IPC' for short) read with Sections 3, 4, 5, 6 of the Immoral Trafoc (Prevention) Act, 1956 registered vide First Information Report (FIR) No.187/2022 with Vijapur Naka Police Station.

The FIR was registered on April 22, 2022 by the Police Head Constable. The raid was conducted on April 21, 2022. From the statement of the victim, it transpired that the 1/3

present applicant and other accused provided customers to the victim and asked her to indulge in prostitution. 4.

My attention is invited to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure at page 23 of the paper-book. The other accused against whom the similar allegations are made as that of the present applicant have been enlarged on bail. There are no criminal antecedents reported against the applicant. The applicant is in custody for more than three months. The investigation is complete and the charge-sheet has been filed. Hence the following order.

O R D E R

(a) The application is allowed.

(b) The applicant-Sangita Rahul Awasare in connection with FIR No.187/2022 with Vijapur Naka Police Station, shall be released on bail on her furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. (c) The applicant shall report to the Investigating Ofocer of the concerned police station once in two months on every first Monday, between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. 2/3

(d) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Ofocer. The applicant shall not tamper with evidence.

(e) On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish her contact number and residential address to the Investigating Ofocer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change.

The application is disposed of.
