By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR registered vide CR No.I-184 of 2018 with the Vashi Police Station, Navi Mumbai for the alleged offences punishable under sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and section 4(a) and 5 of the Bombay Prevention of Gambling Act and section 25(C) of the Indian Telegraph Act, 1985.

In view of the statement made by learned APP, we do not deem it appropriate to entertain the aforesaid writ petition. Writ petition is dismissed. We make it clear that we have not gone into the merits of this petition and, as such, all contentions of all parties are kept open. 4.

Since the trial has already commenced, the trial of the case is expedited.
