The above written petitions are filed seeking directions against Respondent authorities to redetermine and decide within a particular time limit, the applications under S. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, at the rates mentioned therein and grant compensation.

The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the applications will be decided on merits within a period of 8 weeks from today. In view thereof, following order is passed.
ORDER
(i) The applications filed by the Petitioners under S. 28-A of the Land Acquisition Act, shall be decided, by the Respondent Nos. 2 / 3
1 and 2, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from today.
