1.
Despite several opportunities given by this Court, the Petitioner-accused and his advocate are absent. 2.
This Court was engaged in this litigation for more than six months on the ground that the victim and the accused have compromised and reached a settlement. The victims were not before this Court. After their impleadment as well, no such settlement is brought on record. The Court was not satisfied with the affidavit filed on 24th November 2016 allegedly of the victim. In the above circumstances, this writ petition is dismissed for want of prosecution, and ad-interim order granted earlier, if any, is vacated forthwith. Needless to clarify that there is no expression of opinion on the merits of the case.
