Having heard the learned counsel for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No.3 - Education Officer (Primary), Solapur Zilla Parishad, Solapur to decide the proposal dated 24.6.2014 by the Joint Secretary of respondent No.4 regarding approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Shikshan Sevak (copy

Mhi WP-345-18..doc of which is annexed as Exhibit "L" to the petition) as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 3.

It is made clear that we have not gone to the merits of the petition and Respondent No.3 shall decide the said proposal independently on its own merits and in accordance with law. All points and contentions of respective parties are kept open. 4.

In order to enable Respondent No.3 to comply with this order, the petitioner shall remain present before Respondent No.3 on 11.4.2018 along with copy of the said proposal as well as copy of this order.

Till disposal of the said proposal by Respondent No.3, ad-interim relief granted under the order dated 15th January, 2018 shall remain in operation.

Writ Petition stands disposed of.
