The limited prayer sought in this application is to seek interim protection pending his application before the Sessions Court. The Sessions Court has refused to grant interim relief vide order dated 7th January, 2019, and, adjourned the matter for hearing on 10th January, 2019. The grievance of the applicant is that the learned Sessions Court ought not to have refused the interim relief and kept the matter pending. As the matter is adjourned to 10th January, 2019, it would be appropriate to direct the Sessions Court to decide it on 10th January, 2019, itself without being influenced by the rejection of the interim protection by order dated 7th January, 2019.
