This is an application seeking condonation of delay in filing an application seeking leave to appeal challenging the Judgment and Order passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Malshiras in Special Case No. 4 of 2010 thereby acquitting the respondents of the offence punishable under Section 7 and 13(1)(d) read with Section 13(2) of the Prevention of the Corruption Act, 1988. The delay is of 18 days. For the reasons assigned in paragraphs 2 and 3 of the application, delay of 18 days deserves to be condoned in the interest of justice. Hence, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b) and disposed of accordingly.
