The learned counsel appearing for the Applicant submits that the charge is already framed and trial is commenced. He further informed this Court that there are in all nine witnesses.

In view of the fact that the trial has already been commenced, the learned counsel appearing for the Applicant on instructions seeks permission to withdraw this Application however he prays that directions may be issued to the concerned Court to expedite the trial within a stipulated period. In the light of the submissions made across the bar, the Criminal Application is dismissed as withdrawn, however, we direct the concerned Trial Court to expedite the trial and take appropriate decision as expeditiously as lgc
