In paragraph 14 of the affidavit filed by one Dr. Nitin Kareer, Additional Chief Secretary (Revenue), State of Maharashtra, affirmed on 25th April 2023, it is stated "considering various aspects in land transfers and breaches Government is formulating new comprehensive policy". In paragraph 15 it is stated "I ............ after receipt of comments from Finance Department, file will be put up for obtaining approval of Cabinet meeting of Government through the office of Chief Secretary, then Revenue Minister, then Deputy Chief Minister and finally Chief Minister. I say that the entire process would require sometime".

Mr. Patel, on instructions from one Mr. Mamdapurkar states that the policy has already been framed and tenders a copy of the G.R.

Statement accepted as undertaking to the Court.
