The petitioner in Writ Petition No. 2021 of 2016 was discharging his duties with respondent Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (M.S.R.T.C.). He suffered disability. Petitioner prays that he may be given suitable work by the Corporation. The learned counsel for the petitioner suggests that petitioner is willing to discharge duties as cleaner or any other table work with Corporation.

Rest of the 3 petitioners were discharging their duties with M.S.R.T.C.

3 4.2021.16 wp as drivers at the relevant time. They suffered physical disability due to which they are unable to discharge their duties. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioners may be given job of cleaner. We have heard the counsel appearing for the Corporation. The learned counsel submits that in three cases, Corporation had offered job of sweepers which the petitioners were not ready to accept. The learned counsel submits that in accordance with the candidate and availability, Corporation had given such offer.

We have perused the records and heard the submissions advanced. In the facts, we issue following directions.

O R D E R

(i) Petitioners shall be ready to discharge their duties as cleaners or any other table work with M.S.R.T.C.

(ii) Necessary orders be issued within 4 weeks from today.

4 4.2021.16 wp (iii) The absorption of petitioners shall be with continuity of service for service benefits.

Writ petitions stand disposed of.
