Interim Application is filed seeking clarification about the Order dated 09 November 2023 passed in Writ Petition No.1422 of 2008. By that Order Respondent is directed to pay to Petitioner lumpsum compensation of Rs.15 Lakhs. The learned counsel appearing for Petitioner submits that clarification be issued that amount of compensation be spread over under provisions of Section 89 of Income Tax Act. It is clarified that amount of compensation of Rs.15 Lakhs is spread over as per Section 89 of the Income Tax Act for the period from 04 November 1997 to 09 November 2023. Interim Application is disposed of.
