The contempt alleged is of the order dated 28-11-2016 passed by this Division Bench of this Court (Ranjit More and Mrs. Shalini Phansalkarjoshi, JJ). In the said order, the statement made by the Learned Additional PP was recorded to the effect that the preliminary inquiry into the allegations made by the Petitioner is being conducted by the Anti Corruption Bureau and that an appropriate decision would be taken within a period of 15 days from the said date and the same would be communicated to the Petitioner immediately thereafter. In terms of the said statement, an inquiry was conducted and the outcome of the said inquiry was communicated to the Petitioner by letter dated 4-5-2017 by Mr. M. M. Naik, P.I. Anti Corruption Bureau. A copy of the same has also been sent to the Petitioner by post. In view of the said communication dated 4-5-2017, there is compliance of the mmj

cp-25-17(38) order dated 28-11-2016 of which contempt is alleged. Hence there is no warrant to exercise the contempt jurisdiction. The above Contempt Petition is accordingly dismissed. The Learned APP may furnish additional copy of the said communication dated 4-5-2017 to the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and also place a copy on record.
