Prayer in this petition is to direct respondent nos.1 to 3 to decide an application of petitioner, copy whereof is at Exhibit "D" (not Exhibit "C" as stated in the petition) to the petition. It is shocking to note that the application is dated 20th September 2013 and petitioner had to file a Writ Petition in December 2021 to direct respondent nos.1 to 3 to consider the application filed over eight years earlier. Ms. Bhende states that the application was only to measure the land mentioned in paragraph 7 of the application. Mr. Nagode appearing for respondent no.7 states that his instructions from Mr. Nitin Gaware Patil, the advocate on record, is that measurements have been carried out sometime ago.

2/2 42.WP-3182-2022.doc Ms. Bhende states that she has no instructions but if for any reason what Mr. Nagode has stated is not entirely correct, respondent no.2 shall complete the measurements and provide a report to petitioner within four weeks from today. Statement accepted as undertaking by respondent no.2, the Tahasildar, South Solapur, District Solapur. Petition accordingly disposed.
